Chicken Cordon Bleu Nuggets

Chicken Cordon Bleu Nuggets

Introduction:
Tired of waiting a long time for your food to cook? worried about if your chicken is raw or not? Not need to worry anymore. Chicken Cordon Bleu nuggets are a fun easy snack that cooking in no time! Not only are they easy to make but they taste great and make a fun party snack. As a warning, be sure you wash the chicken and everything the raw chicken touches to avoid salmonella! Chicken, unlike red meats, cannot be eaten under cooked.

Materials:
2 each
 Eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup flour
6 slices hamdeli sliced, cut lengthwise into 4 strips each
6 slices swiss cheesecut lengthwise into 4 strips each
1 breast chickencut into 24 chunks
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 350°(F). Spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a splash of water. On a plate, combine the breadcrumbs and thyme. On another plate, combine the flour with a pinch each of salt and pepper. Lay 12 ham strips on a work surface. Top each with a cheese strip. Place a chicken chunk toward the end of each strip and roll up to enclose the chicken.
Working with 1 chicken nugget at a time, lightly coat with the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumbs. Transfer seam side down to the prepared baking sheets. Lightly spray the nuggets with cooking spray and bake until crisp, about 20 minutes.

Results: This was my personal favorite recipe in the class. and it was super easy. By following the rule FEB, we were able to attain a crispy outside and didn't even have to fry them. This dish is delicious, semi-nutritious, and easy to make. it would be perfect for kids, adults, and teens. It can be eaten on the go of as an appetizer. You do not want to get a honey ham or anything that is too sweet because it will overpower the dish.
